These attorneys can help you if your loved one has become incapacitated.

The focus of CANHR’s LRS Conservatorship Panel

The CANHR LRS Conservatorship panel was developed in order to assist family members who are in need of a competent conservatorship attorney who understands California's Medi-Cal and long term care programs. Attorneys on CANHR's LRS Conservatorship panel have all been carefully screened by the CANHR LRS Advisory Committee. This panel is comprised of attorneys who are recognized leaders in the field of Conservatorship law.

The minimum requirements for attorneys before they can be permitted to join the Conservatorship panel are as follows:

NO CONTESTED CONSERVATORSHIP

CANHR's LRS Conservatorship Panel Members do not represent parties in contested conservatorship cases where there are disagreements regarding the selection of the conservator or the nature of the conservatorship.
For representation in contested conservatorship cases, you are advised to contact your county bar association's lawyer referral service.
  • Within two years prior to applying to the panel the attorney must have filed at least two conservatorships.
  • Within two years prior to applying to the panel the attorney must have personally supervised at least two conservatorships through the first accounting.
  • Within two years prior to applying to the panel the attorney must have attended at least one California State Bar approved Minimum Continuing Legal Education training in conservatorships or a related filed.
