As part of CANHR’s mission to provide consumer education and advocacy support through community outreach, CANHR staff regularly travel near and far to participate in a wide variety of events. In attendance were members of the Santa Clara and San Mateo County Ombudsman offices and legal services attorneys from Senior Adults Legal Assistance (SALA).

• May 4 & 5: CANHR held its 11th Annual Elder Law Conference in Berkeley. CANHR staff and elder law professionals led multiple training sessions on topics ranging from Medi-Cal boot camp to estate planning to personal injury lawsuits. The conference was a huge success, attracting a wide range of private bar and legal services attorneys from across California.
