DRA Update: December 17, 2010

The Department has given permission to release the draft DRA regulations (see link). This version is only the latest of several versions, and we want to make it clear that these are not final regulations. They have not even been submitted to the Office of Regulations, and are not likely to be submitted for a number of months.

As several of CANHR's attorneys and staff worked on the regulations with the Department, along with Western Center on Law and Poverty staff, we are posting these to give you an idea as to the direction the regulations are taking. Remember: these are not official regulations, just a draft.

CANHR will be holding several trainings after the new year to discuss DRA and current laws. Until then, happy reading!
