This 21-page report is based on original research of public records located in California district offices of Community Care Licensing (CCL), and presents findings on the status of public records, enforcement practices, quality of care citations, and staffing. The report also analyzes online information systems on residential care/assisted living throughout the U.S. In addition, the report makes policy recommendations to improve the quality of enforcement and information systems.
